On April 25, 2006, under the approval of the Second Extraordinary Shareholders' General Meeting and the State Administration of Industry & Commerce, SHENZHEN BAOHENG (GROUP) Co., Ltd. was renamed COFCO PROPERTY (GROUP) CO., LTD.
The stock abbreviation was also changed to "G COFCO Property" and ratified by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The stock code remains unchanged (000031).
In October 2004, COFCO reached a framework agreement on the equity transfer of Shenzhen Baoheng with Shenzhen Bao'an Investment Management Co., Ltd. After the purchase was approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the China Securities Regulatory Commission, COFCO became the largest shareholder with 59.63% shares.
