Mr. Frank Ning was honored as CCTV 2012 Chinese Economic Figures of the Year on the ceremony which was held on December 12, 2012.
He is leading China’s largest food empire. It looks simple but is complicated in nature. Along with rapid development of the company, challenges come, i.e., how to offer safe and quality products to customers. He and COFCO Corporation take on the social responsibilities to offer healthy and nutritious products and life services.
COFCO Corporation used to be a trading company. With transmission, it has been building the whole industry chain, e.g., turning corn into starch, sugar, ethanol, lysine, citric acid and modified starch, and also into feed, and also into ham after further processing. Quality control is very important in this process.
CCTV Chinese Economic Figures of the Year is seen as the barometer and wind vane of China’s economy. Mr. Frank Ning was honored in 2001 and 2009 sessions of CCTV Chinese Economic Figures of the Year.
