Great Wall Terroir was awarded RVF Good Chinese Wine Prize in the event organized by La Revue du Vin de France (RVF) for this year. The Chardonnay dry white wine from Yantai and the rose wine from Shacheng were awarded the silver prize. The Riesling dry white wine from Yantai was awarded the bronze prize and the best price prize.
The Chardonnay grapes were from the vines of 10 years old in Longshan Valley. Wine makers control the process strictly and manage differentiation carefully with the quality French oak barrels. The wine was attractive with pineapple, orange, lemon and vanilla aromas, and tasted fine and cool.
