Mr. Frank Ning, Chairman of COFCO Corporation, attended the symposium between Argentina Government and Chinese entrepreneurs in St. Regis on February 3, 2015.
Mr. Frank Ning briefed Ms. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, President of Argentina, on COFCO’s investment in Argentina. Agriculture and grains, edible oils and foods are COFCO’s core business which is distributed and operated on the global basis. Argentina is one of the important countries where COFCO distributes and operates its assets and businesses. There is still great potential in trade and investment. COFCO expects to deepen cooperation in agriculture and hopes that Argentina will relax restrictions on export of agro-products.
The symposium was chaired by Ms. President, which provided the platform for Argentina Government and Chinese enterprises doing trade and making investment in Argentina for discuss and exchange views on cooperation.
