The project of “high-temperature-resistant PCM micro-capsules, heat accumulating and adjusting fiber and the manufacture technologies ” was awarded the national second prize during the National Sciences and Technologies Award Ceremony held on January 14, 2011, which was completed jointly by Snow Lotus of China Tuhsu, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University and Shandong Helon Co., Ltd. This is one of the highest prizes at the state level and the highest one for invention achieved by COFCO .
Mr. Xiaoguang Tian, Senior Engineer, made important contributions by working on R&D of protein temperature-adjusting fiber and its manufacture. This is the first one of its kind in China. And the award is the highest one for invention in the field of functional fiber manufacture in China.
