According to the magazine of Corporate Governance Asia, Mr. Patrick Yu, President of COFCO, Executive Director and Managing Director of COFCO Agri-Industries Holdings (00606HK), was honored as the Best Board Director of Asia which is recognition to his outstanding leadership in driving the company's growth, meeting macro-economic challenges and maximizing shareholders' interest.
COFCO Agri-Industries Holdings (00606HK) was also given the Exceptional Performance Award which recognition to its improvement as a listed company including in corporate governance, social responsibilities, business ethnics, discloure, investor relations and financial statements.
There were also other awarded Chinese companies like China Construction Bank, China Telecommunication Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
