The State Council has approved the awarding of a special state subsidy for 2004 to Zhang Xin, assistant general manager of the Packaging Division of COFCO Development, and Wu Wenting, general manager of the finance department of COFCO Ceroilfood Finance, Ltd.
The State Council Special State Subsidy is an award given in recognition of outstanding contributions and achievements made by scientists, technicians and scholars working in the fields of science and technology, banking, finance and accounting, foreign trade, law, education and culture and on the front lines of production in industry and agriculture. There are now four people from COFCO who have received this honor.
