On October 24 and 25, 2012, government officials, university scholars and COFCO’s senior management attended the ceremony for establishment of the National Energy Industry Committee for Technical Standardization of Biomass Liquid Fuel Processing and Conversion. It is set up in COFCO Corporation. Mr. Junguo Yue and Mr. Bei Li are appointed to hold senior positions.
The committee will mobilize resources from various sources to keep up with the development pace of the industry and satisfy the demand of the integrated business model, and also modify standards of its field on the systemic basis following the international level, laying foundations for the certification system.
Keynote speech was given on detailed analysis of current situation, R&D, trends, challenges, what to do, etc.
The event also discussed and approved the bylaw and a series of working rules, covering basic ones, raw material collection, storage and transportation, processing and conversion, products, sanitary production, energy consumption, etc.
