On May 18, 2011, it is the first time for COFCO to participate as exhibitor on behalf of China's grain, oil and food companies in the 14th China Beijing International Hi-Tech Expo.
The theme of COFCO's exhibition is Growth Driven by Sciences and Technologies. COFCO's booth consists of nine zones including scientific and technological show, industry chain illustration, family experience, product show, cultural show, stage performance, interactive games, business talk bar and taste table.
The innovative design and decoration was the spotlight during the expo. The industry chain show zone illustrated COFCO's strategy. The logo of Joy City was used in building a platform to illustrate the idea of service chain urban complexes. The simulated oiling machine showed visitors how bio-energies were processed. There were also dancing, product show and taste and Q&A.
